How do I replace the handle on a GE microwave oven? - microwave oven problems

The handle on my GE microwave broken. How can I avoid this? The tip of the handle is easy to remove, because you simply screw in the door of the microwave. My problem is, how can I fix on the doorknob to the bottom? I see a screw in the door of the microwave? Help!
